Organizational Conflict of Interest

Orion's Belt Engineering has not yet had a direct government contract. With the exception of 2 teammates, Lory and Neal, none of our personnel have worked directly for the U.S. Government nor have any of our personnel worked previously on a SETA contract. None of our personnel have worked for the Missile Defense Agency, nor has the company sold any products to the Missile Defense Agency.

Our team brings decades of technical leadership in highly regulated industries combined with in-depth engineering and scientific understanding of complex systems. This enables us to more accurately assess risks from the system level to the unit level. this also enables us to have positive constructive discussions with engineering teams, not just stating guidance but partnering with them to improve the product.  

Badgeless Organizations

Our team is adept at working within badgeless organizations. Badgeless organizations are important for multi-contractor and multi-agency teams, where the team focus is Mission First. In these organizations, it is important for Advisory & Assistance personnel to: 

1. Promote a collaborative and respectful workplace with a focus on Mission First
2. Ensure they provide guidance, not direction to contractor teams
3. Focus on representing their customer /  not use the access they have to advertise their company
